Special Appeal Jerry

Sunday, April 26th, 2015

Jerry is a beautiful fluffy ginger boy that was found straying by a lady who began to feed him and let him inside her home, but unfortunately she could not care for him long-term. He was taken in by Cats’ Aid, and veterinary tests confirmed that he has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). Unfortunately this means he will always have a weaker immune system. His life as a stray was tough on him and he has some battle scars, but his raggy ears and marbled eye give him great character. We’ll never know what happened to Jerry during his life, but it took some time to convince him that he’s safe now. He still flinches occasionally as though he’s expecting something bad to happen. But he is quickly learning to relax, he is now king of the couch and he loves being petted and purrs and trills loudly in appreciation. He is very affectionate and he will make a wonderful pet. He will need to be indoors only, either by himself or with another FIV positive cat.

Please phone Cats’ Aid on 01 668 3529 if  you can give him a forever home. (Ref DO’S)
