Roxy needs a new home!

Hi, I’m Roxy and I’m a 7yr old tortie girl who is looking for my new forever home! My human Mum says I’m a wonderfully sweet cat with tons of character and that I’m a really amazing companion : ) She adopted me as a young cat from Battersea Cats and Dogs Home in south London, where I was abandoned. With time and lots of love I gained in confidence and developed my unique & wonderful personality! My Mum moved back to Dublin three years ago and, being the brave lady I am, I took the move in my stride!

I am a typically independent tortie so I sometimes like to have my own space and go off for a spot of ‘me-time’! When I’m ready though, I’ll let you know when I want some company with affectionate purrs, head bumps and cheek rubs. I welcome arrivals at the front the door with purrs galore and roll over on my back, happy to have humans home to boss around! Sometimes I like to play with things from my prized possession – my basket of toys! But my favourite things are my Dreamies treats!

I’m looking for a home that will understand I may take some time to settle and require some space to find my paws. Once settled and my confidence increases, I’ll begin seeking out affection and rewarding my ever so patient new family for their understanding, showing my true colours. I don’t think I want to live with small children or dogs (as I’ve never been around them before) and I would probably like to be the only cat! I’m mainly an indoor-only cat, having always lived in apartments, but would enjoy access to a secure garden too.

My Mum says that I’ve been the most wonderful companion but due to a change in living circumstances needs to find me a new loving home where I’ll undoubtedly make someone else very happy.
