Meet Lucky!

Lucky is a beautiful little tuxedo female cat. She was surrendered to Cats Aid in 2022 after her owner was no longer able to look after her. She is an older lady of 11/12 years old and has been with her foster mum since she came to Cats Aid. She has settled in well, though she is quite independent and likes her own space. Once settled, Lucky likes being around her person and will follow you around when you are in the house (if she is not sleeping).
Lucky sits close to her foster mum on the sofa in the day or evening but equally may decide just to hang out on her cat tree and watch the birds outside! She will come onto your lap when she is in the mood and enjoys a head and neck rub but does not like being picked up. At night time she likes to sleep in the bedroom with her foster mum. She is vocal around her food dish and will make funny little chirruping noises when she is looking for your attention.
Medical History – Lucky has experienced difficulties with eating/digestion and has had some skin issues, she has been checked and her skin issue has cleared up successfully. However, she is currently on a low dose (inexpensive) medication to help with her digestion which she will need to continue in the future, she will also need her bloods checked on a 6 monthly basis. She eats small amounts at a time so she is fed more often during the daytime. She can only tolerate wet food and is on a diet of Royal Canin Gastrointestinal pouches, additionally she enjoys occasional treats of cheese or tuna. She also likes vanilla yogurt and will take pleasure in licking out a yoghurt pot!
Lucky is an indoor cat, she is most suited to a quiet home with an experienced, patient, adult cat owner, max two adults in the home. She is not suitable with children or other cats or animals. She will be shy to begin with and will need time to adjust to her new home.
