Meet Gerard!

Gerard is a bundle of fun and love aged about 3 months old with lovely long hair! He has boundless energy and absolutely loves chasing balls, paper bundles, empty paper toilet roll tubes, cuddly toys – you name it, if it moves he chases it! He loves climbing and is currently very curious about everything from the toilet bowl to washing machine to the television. In fact, he loves watching the tv/laptop and will sit for ages focused on the screen. He also spends time looking out the window at the world going by, again curious about everything, always exploring.

After a couple of hours of this playing and hijinks he runs out of steam, and falls asleep on the couch, in the plant pot, between the pillows on the bed or on the window sill. He is a light sleeper so any noise wakes him up, but he’ll make a cute kitten sound and go back to sleep. He loves his food and would eat all day if he could!

He is extremely affectionate, constantly giving hugs, kisses and likes to be in my arms, on my chest, wrapped around my neck or perched above my head! He adores being petted and cuddled and playing with me. Loud noises currently frighten him, such as the hoover. If the wind is loud outside, he’ll stick close to me. All in all, he prefers being with me instead of another room. 
As he is constantly learning and climbing to check things out, caution is needed with windows, toilet seat, oven door or anywhere he can crawl into and potentially hurt himself.

Gerard had a slight issue with one of his eyes in the past which is now resolved as his sight seems to be perfect now.
