Indoor Home Only Applicants Please

Kiwi is a gorgeous long-haired tortie who came to Cats Aid when she was just a small kitten (about three months old). She was found following a house cat around in a garden. With no mother or siblings around, she was taken in and has been with her foster family ever since. She is now approximately six or seven months old, fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.

Kiwi, like most kittens, is full of energy and loves chasing her foster sister around the place. She is very playful and would do well with a pal to keep her busy. She enjoys chasing after toys, jumping into cardboard boxes and shopping bags, and chirping at the birds outside.

Even when she first arrived and was still scared and hissy, Kiwi gave in very quickly to cuddles and scritches, once she realised what they felt like. She loved her chin scratches and her foster parents are convinced they are what won her over.

Kiwi is a very snuggly cat who sits in her foster mum’s dressing gown in the morning while she makes her coffee. Her purr engine is the fastest on the start you will ever hear! But she still sometimes shies away if she is approached too quickly, and just needs reminding of how good snuggles are.

Kiwi has come a long way since she first came in and her foster parents are so proud. She has become a very social little kitty, but she will need a bit of time to settle in and get comfortable. Please also know that Kiwi has a penchant for plants so you will have to keep them out of her reach (and beware, her reach is more impressive than you’d think!).

Kiwi would be happy in a spacious home on her own or with another friendly cat. If you feel that you have the right home for Kiwi please get in touch with us today via catsaid@gmail.com.
